"TaÏpusam" by Edwige Lamy
“Most things are forgotten over time. Even the war itself, the life-and-death struggle people went through is now like something from the distant past. […] But still, no matter how much time passes, no matter what takes place in the interim, there are some things we can never assign to oblivion, memories we can never rub away. They remain with us forever, like a touchstone.” ― Haruki Murakami, Kafka on the Shore
Born in France, Edwige Lamy used lived in Singapore where she could practice her passion for photography travelling around Asia. She needed to revive these memories a scene by creating a scene that combines the essentials of a country, a city, an event, the quintessence. At a glance, everything is reborn.
Her creations have been digitalised and realised with her best photographs, meticulously worked again and again to form a unique overview. Her work has been exhibited in several gatherings in Singapore. Today, Edwige creates custom photomontages on different themes.
